Livejournal, it's been awhile, but it's been an interesting and busy week or two.
I succeeded in following Tim Birch around with a microphone on election day and also succeeded in interviewing the wrong person later that night and forgetting to press the "record" button when interviewing the another candidate. So I was driving around frantically at midnight trying to track these people down, again, to no avail. And I thought my life was over for a minute or two, but everything worked out, like it always seems to... at least with the radio gig.
I had to work at the John's on Friday and Saturday.. I never knew Western-Central weekend would be such a big deal... but it was. I was only supposed to work dinner rush on Saturday, but dinner rush ended up lasting until 4 a.m. Normally would stay open that late every weekend but people have a tendency to pass out between ordering their pizza and actually receiving it. I'll peer in a window at JefCom and see eight or 10 bodies all sprawled out. I'l pound on the door with all I've got but everyone's out cold. At that point I figure even having a cellphone won't do much good. And people didn't seem to be especially over the-top obnoxious.. at least no one that I ran into. It just takes one moron fucking with you to ruin an entire night. But I cleaned up.. so it was worth it.
Busy with Intership/Class/Driving to GR to have "Thanksgiving"
Everyone should listen to Morning Edition and/or All Things Considered tomorrow on 102.1 to hear my piece on a statue in Bronson Park I've never really noticed before but is apparently a hotbed of controversy..
Thursday to Fort Wayne if the weather cooperates

Re: go bucking chippewas!
Yes, that fountain.Sheezus, I'd call, but you're prolly sleepin since I didn't get out of work 'till three. I'll try before or after my dinner shift today. Mom says if the weather is bad enough on Thursday she won't be picking me up and I won't be going home.. so I could be doing T'giving alone.. but chances of severe weather look slim.
Eat a TV dinner and swill some Wild Turkey for me!
